Lichfield's Conservative MP Michael Fabricant has recently published his party's view of the benefits there will be for our area on the back of Brexit.

The dismantling of Public Health England is yet another indication of the corruption and incompetence of the Johnson government

Once more, the Johnson Conservative government refuses to take responsibility for its own mistakes. Claiming that Public Health England (PHE) has failed to provide proper guidance during the pandemic, it has been announced that PHE will be dismantled, and will be merged with NHS Track, Test and Trace.

Lichfield City Councillor Hugh Ashton - Garrick Road ward (Liberal Democrat) writes:

I recently wrote to Mr Michael Fabricant, MP for Lichfield, regarding the protection of the National Health Service from American capital and influence. On 13 July, he replied to me courteously and at some length, but the reply seems to have been very largely a cut and paste from a template, presumably circulated to all Conservative MPs who had been contacted by constituents on this issue.
