Lib Dem Candidates for East Staffordshire District

Patrice Moreau, Chair of Lichfield, Tamworth and Burton Liberal Democrats, and candidate for Needwood Forest in the May 1 Staffordshire County Council elections, says:

“I am pleased to announce that the candidates below will be standing in the East Staffordshire District for the Liberal Democrats.

“At this time, many voters are looking towards an alternative to the Conservative Party, which has produced 14 years of confused misery for many, and Labour, who have failed to provide the momentum and motivation to create the changes that so many not only want, but require in order to survive. We Liberal Democrats provide that alternative – an alternative with the years of experience in local government that other parties lack, despite their years of campaigning.

“We are a party which stands against Trump, and against those Britons who would want to sell British institutions like the NHS to American companies in the name of reform. We are a party which wants change, but change which provides a realistic and practical alternative to the present broken systems. It's easy to criticise, but it's hard to actually produce workable solutions.
