Sunny Virk says - General Election now!

Responding to Liz Truss's resignation as Prime Minister, Liberal Democrat candidate for Tamworth, Sunny Virk said:

People in Tamworth deserve better than this incompetent and chaotic government, which has sent mortgages spiralling while our NHS services are stretched to breaking point. Energy price crisis only compounds the issue and with winter upon us we need certainty in these difficult times, especially in Tamworth.

The Conservative party have proven time and time again they are not fit to lead our great country.

This country needs a general election and the Conservatives now need to do their patriotic duty and call one. Conservative MPs cannot prop up more chaotic Governments that can't seem to set anything properly.

At the next election I ask people across Tamworth to vote for Liberal Democrats to get a fair deal on your NHS, to reduce ambulance waiting times, reduce energy prices and the cost of living instead of more chaos.
