The Economy in Tatters

Jed at shenstone

On the doorstep listening to residents in Trinity and Wilnecote, I hear that the spectre of not being able to make ends meet is everywhere.

Fixed rate mortgages end, new ones (with 3x higher interest, on mortgages that are 8 or 9 times average pay!) means hard working people are in trouble.

Tories and Reform are offering tax cuts which will spook markets AGAIN.

Labour meekly accept the travesty of poverty.

I've been there and I won't accept it! I will be part of fixing it.
