Jamie Christie (Lichfield City South) was elected to the City Council two years ago to represent the Leomansley ward in which he lives with this wife and three children. He also serves as Chair of a local Residents Association.
He says, “Over the past decade, I have worked and campaigned alongside residents on issues like road safety, dangerous parking, and planning issues. As part of the Lib Dem team on the City Council I serve on various committees and play an active role in the life of the council.
“If elected to the County Council, I will continue to listen to and work with local residents, not just at election time, but throughout the year, keeping up my record of getting things done and improving the city.”
In his day job, Jamie lectures at a university here in the Midlands.
